10 Hari Terakhir..... Focus222

Salam Ramadan,

Rasa pilu Ramadan kan tinggalkan kita lagi 10 hari. Bukan apa, commercial wise we make a lot more during normal months tapi ketenangan Ramadan ni skali setahun je. Dulu masa kecik tak sabar2 tunggu Raya but I guess that as I grew up.... I finally got the message that its the hardship that we savour most. Believe it or not, I'm the most healthy and fit during fasting month.

Dont like at all to say .... dont be like me when I was younger. But as the Prophet says... sampaikan dariku walaupun satu ayat.

Pesan Rasulullah "Ingat Muda sebelum Tua".

A lot of us during our 20's and 30's just cant get enough from the CITY OF LIGHTS. sameo, sameo here. We admit semayang malam tu amat baik lebih2 lagi di bulan ramadan. But.... lets wait another 5-10yrs. Got a lot of catching up to do with what KL has to offer during Ramadan. Buffet Ramadan etc222. Anyways boss yang suruh gi.

Hope its not too late to say, let's make this Ramadan different. It just takes one moment for Mardatillah "Keredhaan Allah". One moment in time Bros and Sis. We hope, We pray that we are chosen. Insyallah. Anyways lets focus, focus, focus on meeting Al Qadar.

Salam and Cheers,
Andaks
Ps: balik Pontian Raya's Eve.Hati2 di Jalan Raya.

Moreh222....makan rehat2

Salam semua,
Its been exactly a week since Ramadan muncul. Glorious week. masjid ngan surau sarat macam orang pregnant nak meletup. Alhamdullilah... Ustadz kata nampak muslimah pakai telekung dlm LRT. Bulan Ramadan ni rahmat Allah luas. Tak malu pakai telekung mana2. Kat pan Versace, VOIR, butik Ferrangamo bole je. Macam tu la kak.

And talk about moreh lepas witir, rebut2 coz dah letih kot. Buka pun tak bole soru banyak sangat. Nanti sujud tak bangun lak. Kami serving moreh yg simple2.... bubur gandum/bubur kacang, sup tulang with bagutte Carrefour, mee goreng/mee hoon. Masa bulan biasa tak heran pun. Tapi masa bulan berkat nila yang kita cari. Say goodbye to Buffet Ramadan dengan 100 macam juadah, we are happy with just sup tulang ngan roti kering je. Barule kempis perut. Bila perut dah kempis barule rajin semayang ngan baca kitab. Akhirnya Ramadan tu ada makne yek.

Anyways we still got 20++ days to go. Selamat berpuasa. Semoga menjadi orang yang bertaqwa macam yang di sebut dalam surah Al Baqarah tu, Insyallah.

Salam Ramadan,
Andaks

Dont Talk to Strangers.... Do or Dont we?

Salam All,
Remember when we are kids our parents used to warn us... Dont Talk to Strangers. They're all up to no good. Bad man... Bad woman. They'll eat u up. Scared the hell out of me though. But as I grew up I found that 99% of the people outside there are just decent folks. Of course they are some rotten tomatoes but then again there always are.....

We grew up having a lot of distrust and mistrust. And the result is we're always getting bad advise either in our everyday lives or our investments. We usually run to our neighbourhood boyos for scholarly advise. Not saying that its bad. But jus coz somebody doesn't dress or talk the same way you do doesn't mean they're aliens.

Guess what, as Whitney says "the greatest love all is easy to achieve... Learning to love YOURSELF it is the greatest love of all".

Folks, we have to look at our FINER points and look outwards and then only we can learn to trust others. Think about it... we always look at the meaner points of ourselves and project it unto others. Positive thinking bros and sis. There's lots of nice people out there who's willing to lend a hand. The Andak household can vouch for this experience when we were living in the hospital for one year. Beautiful people and they were all strangers.

Talk to strangers.... Its good for your soul.

Salam and Cheers,
Andaks
Ps. Tulat puasa...Insyallah

Winning & Thinking Outside the Box

Dear All,
Read the newspaper last week and noted that the PM mentioned that there's going to be some hard times in the second half of 2010. That is some cause to worry about although for most of us its an excuse for us to get back to that soft couch, surf our new astro byond and let our bosses worry about the predicaments of the world. We might have to tighten our belts a little in the coming months but then there's always JJ Fiesta day, Carrefour's midnight sale and Tesco's Real rewards day. So why bother.

Of course we have endless complaints with our office colleagues and family members on why we're not bringing enough cashflow to our households. Everyone and everything is to blame. But then again its too much bother to take any initiative coz everything that's being bought and sold is already there. Let's get back to astro byond and catch the latest murder on CSI.

Guys, Guys... the problem with education or too much education, is that it teaches us the subject, organisation, philosophy/logic and structured methods on performing wage earning jobs. What it lacks is initiative, focus, discipline and the real meaning of WINNING. Winning is not just in the World Cup. Its about our everyday lives. Maybe what we got to do is unlearn what we learned in school. The concept that the earth was flat remained for thousands of years becoz of formal education. Think about it.

Fear Factor on AXN really opened my mind. Its not about eating roaches and mice. Nor is it about beautiful contestants and the endless arguments and fights they have on reality TV. Its about the concept of "Thinking Outside the Box". The contestants are given a task and their job is to WIN. It doesn't matter whether they walk, swing, swim or crawl. No hard rules apply. It doesn't matter whether they go on one to one or form associations. The idea is to WIN and it really mind boggles me to see these contestants perform outside the norm that trained individuals would do. I guess that is what is really missing in most of us... the sense of adventure and experimenting on new approaches.

Imagination bros. That's how PIXAR was born. Just love the Toy Story trilogy. Till next time.

Cheers

Doing it the HARD WAY... Tribute to Abe Lincoln

Dear All,
Noticed a lot of complaints being posted in the tabloids regarding Mlms and investment schemes. Some lost their life savings/some lost their worldly possessions etc.222. I guess we never learn eh, that easy ways out are not real solutions. There's always some folks plying some interesting schemes out there. Tak payah kejo, just put in the money and get some of your friends out there who will get other friends so on and so forth. If there isn't any tangible product or the investment is vague it most probably is a scam.

Lets face it bros and sis, with the advent of the computer and internet, we all start dreaming about easy money. What these gadgets are, are really just a faster way of doing work. Its not going to generate wealth by you staring or clicking mouses here and there. Most you'll get is info. But infos no good if you dont apply it to a product/service that is commercially viable.

I'd like to share with you what Abe Lincoln said in a speech when he was going for the Presidency of the United States. I believe it was relevant then, today and the future.

" I trust in the HARD WAY, for little has come to me except in the HARD WAY, which is good because we have a hard task ahead of us...

This is where I touch the ground, and it is in touching the ground, in moments of difficulty that i've always found my strength. I have been there before, I have done it the HARD WAY, and I will do it the HARD WAY again". Beautiful.... and he did become the President of the United States. Mr Obama can testify that he wouldn't be sitting in the Oval Office without old Abe.

There's no easy way out there folks, but you know what .... its worth it. Its worth it to send your kids to college. Its worth it to spend time and money with the family. Its worth it to have good food and a great home. And it is sure worth it if you can help as many poor folks out there.

Trust in the Hard WAY folks...it works.

Salam and Cheers
