Goodbye Jakarta... Hello Kuala Lumpur?????

Sekarang ni hot topic cerita sal Immigration skali lagi. Yele every time change new minister benda ni dok crop out je. My personal comment? We Malaysians have a choice. Been a foreign student/worker before. So I know the feeling.

Susah nak cakap bros. Hujan emas kat negeri org, hujan batu kat negeri sendiri. Seronok lagi dok kat KL. Tapi looking back at KL 20++ years ago, memang tak banyak peluang. So keje overseas tu memang la nampak attractive. Sama le jugak depa ni yg musafir dari Jakarta, Decca, Lagos, Yangon and Saigon. They're just looking for a better life.The young Malaysians always complain but they've been fed with a golden spoon all their lives. Sama le macam budak2 kat UK, States and Aussie. Life can be really miserable bros. Tanye je sahabat2 kita dari overseas tu. Depa pun heran kita ni jaga budak, ketuk batu n sapu sampah nak outsource to them. Believe it, I was of the same opinion when I was overseas. Yele dulu kat KL pakai computer pakai DOS ngan Wordstar, Kreng Krung22 berejam2. Tu pun kalo ada PC. Dulu arga PC tu sama macam beli Proton Saga. Semo Mat ngan Minah Salleh (young and old) kat overseas dah pakai mouse ngan Apple Mac so keje2 vokay ni outsource le. Sounds familiar?

Of course I agree that our Immigration Dept ni lak over2. Sampai Petronas station penuh ngan foreign workers. Kan self service? Duit punya pasal. As I said we have a choice but I guess its inevitable. Saw a glimpse of news on The Bali Road Map, supposed to be a progression of the Kyoto Protocol. Maksudnye Green environment la tu bang. Dont believe it will work coz kalo nak hidup senang kena melombong, mengorek, menebang apa yg mother nature ada kat bumi nie so its all just ip service nak bagi sedap tengok kat TV je. Wall Street rules kan. So what does it have to do with us? Well, kalau u suka keje tatap2 PC and tak nak buat keje vokay than we have to accept the influx of foreign workers sampai negeri depa tu maju. Not saying its bad but its a fact of life. So the only solution is control and enforcement so that crime and moral values tu tercapai.

Look on the positive side we now have many versions of briyani and noodles kat KL ni skrg. Long Live Good FOOOD. Till next time.

Cant help noticing the headline in the STAR today. The Scratch and Lose Gang are back!!! Ni lepas MLM ngan Pyramid scheme semo dah tak jalan...depa ni kembali with a vengeance. So beware. Like we said earlier hadiah dari langit ni bukan impossible tapi niat tu bros. Always tak betul.

Lets get back tu basics and kerjekan muamalat. Jual beli yang bersugguh2. If the transaction is something you cant control from A-Z, carile benda lain. Easy money tu most probably is a scam. Ask the scratch and lose gang. Depa pun berhempas pulas nak convince kita no. The difference is once they get us in their clutches, they control the whole process. Modus operandi depa ni bordering from unethical too near criminal. Sebab tu life span diorg ni 3-4 bulan je. Macam Cendawan.

Actually all these Ferarris and Cayennes on the road are having a bad influence on our family values. Everybody for himself/herself sampai Halal Haram pun dah lupa. Mak Pak pun kena tinggal kat bas sten. And they say that we are a progressive and tolerant society. Get Real Folks.

Prince Charming kata....Touche Black Duke. Full Time...White 1 Black 0.There's justice in this world after all. Not insinuating anything but terubat sikit hati keluarga arwah bodyguard kite.

Pesan kami pada Tuanku, Rule justly. As Lord Dennings said in his memoirs, "We not only have to be fair but must also be seen to be fair". Tak cukup dalam hati je no. If we may not be so bold to suggest Your Highness ,The country needs a Queen. Penyeri Rakyat le katakan. We know you will choose wisely.

Sambal Sotong and the Army

Just did a breakfast function yesterday morning. Not just any breakfast.... Head of Armed Forces, Army, Air Force, Navy. Rasa macam kat outer space. Banyak sangat bintang...He, He...

Makan memang simple, nasi lemak sambal sotong, rendang ngan kangkung... tapi preparation kat sebulan. Yele VVVIP la katakan. Brass Band pun datang tunggu kat luar. Full Regalia ngan Bagpipes semo. Rasa macam kat set Braveheart lak. Peluh sejuk gak nak melayan depa ni. Yele kami ni bukan cam Pak Engku Caterers yang selalu layan Najib and co. Tapi semangat ada...kecik2 cili api. As the NIKE ad says, "Its my Turn".

Anyways the Panglimas just loved Mak Andak's sambal sotong/ the western equivalent of "Calamari topped with Chilli Pesto". Kalau kat London takkan nak panggil Sambal Sotong Kembang sis.Top Brass mintak tambah sampai abis. Licin nooo....Nasib baik dia tak mintak tapau. Mak Andak nak angkat sudip pun tak larat nikan nak siang sotong. Round the clock le Bros.

Di sini kami nak ucapkan bebanyak temekasih kat abang2 n kakak2 soljar kita yang bertungkus lumus menjayakan event semalam. Caught a glimpse of the press, tak perasan pulak Harian Metro... Mak Andak's favourite daily. Hopefully they enjoyed their meal...Insyallah.

Dalam kita menikmati Syawal nie...ramai anak2 kita yg kena amik exam. UPSR le, PMR le, SPM le...kesian2. Memang Raya tetap Raya, tapi yele risau ada jugak yek. Bukan budak2 je, mak pak lagi risau. Macam mana tak risau, kalo exam tak lepas tak bole sambung belajar. Tak bole sambung belajar camne nak cari makan. Kelam masa depan. Not asking you guys not to worry tapi rahmat Allah tu luas, yang penting kita usaha, doa dan tawakkal. Tak boleh putus asa coz the human heart is designed to acheieve.

Anak2 semo,
"Its not about how hard you can hit, Its all about how hard YOU CAN GET HIT and pick yourselves up again and again. That's what WINNING is all about." Tak payah tengok jauh2, baca je Sirah Nabi. The ultimate winner. And guess what?Its never about Money, Condos and fancy handphones. Money my friend is just an instrument to spread our wealth to people who need it most. Drill that into our kids so that they dont end up as syabu suppliers/manufacturers. That is a sure way of not winning.

Anyways anak2 ilmu tu wajib. Its not about making a ton of money although it obviously helps. Learning is fun eg. suka pomen kereta, main computer,marvel at Les Qopauqe nye animation? Tu semo ilmu. masak2 pun ilmu. So lets hit the books. Dont disappoint us coz you all PENYAMBUNG WARISAN. Insyallah berjaya.

Ramadan pergi.....Syawal tiba

Salam All,
Firstly, Salam Syawal. Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Insyallah kita menjadi orang yang lebih bertaqwa menjelang Syawal onwards.Memang kita semo niat gitu but as usual the CITY OF LIGHTS has a lot to offer too. Tu yang susah. Yele... orang berniaga. Whatever earns babe, itula motto KL.

Anyways not writing to lecture. Semo kita dah adults pun. Just try your hardest to be good yek. Syawal ni order tak henti2 Nasi Beriyani, Tomato, Minyak, Rendang Tok, Rendang biasa, sirap limau, sirap lime, sirap soda... teguk kak teguk. Time for some celebration and its called for coz Nabi pun kata Syawal kena gembira, tak bole melancholic sangat, although we just miss Ramadan dan ketenangan that comes with it.

So if you have that urge nak jamu orang, we'll be mighty glad if u call us. Nak cakap besar daklah but insyallah semo "A".

Hugs and Kisses... Cmon Guys

Dear All,
We are still in the last 10 days of Ramadan... 5 to be exact. Hari2 dok Qiam and dengar kuliah subuh. This morning's sermon was touching and a wee bit emotional. Pakai power Point with a whole range of inspirational stories from You Tube etc. Yele Bros, Ustadz pun dah state of the art. The idea is to reach out by whatever means..no?

Topic was mainly on parenting and the severe repercussions if us mom and dads take it too easily. Tak payah tengok jauh2. Bacaje Harian Metro tu. Lots of scenes shown on the silver screen. But I guess, I like it simple... a HUG and KISS. Its easy when they're toddlers (our kids that is) , it gets harder once they grow into their teens but as the preacher says if you cant become their friend, they'll find it elsewhere and the company most probably wont be from civic centres.

Orang tua2 kata kalau dah terantuk baru nak terngada. Anyways loving your kids is supposed to be fun. It is the most natural form of unconditional love there is. And its just natural that teens get rebellious during that age. Shows that they got spirit. So lets reach out be it to our parents or our kids this Syawal. Yes, am talking to you, bros and sis. Its ok to shed some tears sebelum semuanya terlambat. Anyways its never too late until its too late. Peluk cium tu penting...singa pun peluk keluarga dia, inikan manusia berakal macam kita.
